Only two questions remain:

1. Will the basketball team surpass the football team with 2 wins in conference play?

2. Will Tubby resign at the end of the year or wait to be fired in the summer by the new AD?
 


I don't know about either, but I can tell you; chances of a new AD firing Tubby as their first move on the job when he has 2 years left on his contract?

Can't see any AD having those kind of balls...

If you call saying a guy who plays nearly 3/4 of the game needs to get more than 0 rebounds and Ralph can't always shoot from outside throwing players under the bus.
 

He said Hollins was shaking out on the floor he was so nervous,helpful?Ralph is what he is.All the crying it the world won't change that.Get better players.
 

Maybe not yet. Lets hope they do not run out of time and energy
 




Overall, I thought our guys played just about as well as they are capable of playing and we still lost by double digits to an average Purdue team in the Barn.

Start the young guys and develop Andre Hollins and Joe Coleman. The rest of the players outside of Rodney are garbage. Press for the majority of the game.

agree. don't recall tubby ever throwing a guy under the bus in his time here. has only called out guys when they deserved to be called out. this whole tubby throwing guys under the bus thing is just another load of b.s. hogwash opinion journalism dreamed up by that idiot fat pat reusse and his group of lacky followers in town.
 



Purdue did light it up in the first half. 10-12 on 3's. Jackson the 5'9" guard had to many breaks to the baskets. How many uncontested layups did Purdue have. Chip had a great offensive game, but he gets lost on defense. Dra makes to many unforced errors. We had a chance there when it was down to 9 and we couldn't finish shots I thought we could get 9 wins out of this club, but now we may struggle to get 5 or 6 wins. They won't fire Tubby and he is to proud to resign. He'll finish his two years and the new AD will make his first big hire.

Shooter, shooters, shooters...

Wouldn't it be nice to have consistent three point shooters like even a mediocre Purdue team has. There must be some high school senior out there that can contact the Gopher coaching staff for a look-see. Poor Ralph, but that's another topic.

Yeah I can't believe a coach criticized a player!!! That is outrageous! No coach ever does that. These players need to be coddled like 5-year olds!

Give me a break. He threw Blake under the bus last year for trying to create things. Has thrown Ralph (potentially rightfully so) and Austin under the bus this year. Threw Colton under the bus on the way out in the off-season
 

There's a reason Devoe and Cobbs are lighting it up in the Pac 12 this season.Not to mention Royce.Tubby is disliked by his players.Iverson was a hard working kid who could help us.Paul Carter leaving may also have had to do with his relationship with Tubby as much as his sister's situation.
 

Thinking about it would you rather have Colton out there or the July signing Ingram?Another terrible trade for Tubby.Looks like next year's class will also stink.Woodward from Duluth dominated Ellerson from Rice Lake.Picked the wrong kid again.And the Thomas kid from Onalaska.Wis should have been offered long ago but we quit recruiting him.I am really losing faith in this staff.
 

Tubby calls out players in the media all of the time. You do not have to coddle players, but to name them in press conferences as reasons for a loss is ridiculous.

Pretty sure we are still recruiting Thomas. And Woodard wasn't offered because he had a serious shoulder injury.
