Saw in the paper today that Lumpkin from BSM had 34 last night against De La Salle. Still mad I couldn't make the game. But Tubby was in attendance and Lumpkin played great as he had 5 threes and a bunch of lay ins. He really showed his range. I think Lumpkin just got on Tubbys radar.
Thoughts?

Zach Lofton first and then Sanjay Lumpkin.

Do we really need these type of posts anymore?

Just thought i would help the cause on updates.
I guess not.

Sanjay needs to play like that for an extended period of time before anybody should consider offering him. He's been on Tubby's radar for some time with Jim Peterson constantly in there ear about his stepson, but this may make tubby take a second look. I also heard several people didn't think Zierdon played that well, not to mention Dearring was also very unimpressive.

Johnny,

Sanjay already has offers on the table from Drake and Indiana State. There may be another. As I did watch the game last night I'll offer up this opinion on Dearing. DLS has him playing PG. Not sure why but extended minutes at the 1 is not his best position as of today. Unimpressive? Harsh words. Is he more of a 3 now? Sure. The skills he learns at the 1 this year will only benefit him in the long run.

Just a general thought on gopherhole and the Mn high school kids. Any kid in this state who reads this forum will have more negative stuff written about him than positive. Not sure that helps.

From Sid:

"Northwestern basketball coach Bill Carmody was recently in the home of Benilde-St. Margaret's basketball star Sanjay Lumpkin, where Carmody offered the son of former Gophers football star Sean Lumpkin a Wildcats basketball scholarship."

Go Gophers!!

I like Lumpkins game but I also like Ellensons game too. If we cant get our top sf prospects we should go local to rice lake and BSM.

Sanjay was offered by Carmody over three weeks ago.

well now we all know. who cares how long ago it was and three weeks isnt that long ago. sid's not always the most timely.

More information is never a bad thing.

All of the recruiting fanboys are all over people who make these kinds of posts as though we all follow the recruiting trail religiously. It's nice to get this info for those of us who don't have the time or patience to attend these games ourselves.

Just to add...

Lumpkin offered by Santa Clara and Princeton recently
