I come to you all with the same message as last week.

If Tanner has CrAB and Wright, he can pass. And if the offense has a functional passing game, it will have a functional running game. And the defense is affirmatively good (not great, but good). Put this all together, and it means that the offense and defense will be able to play in a complementary fashion, and PJ will be able to manage the game according to his squeeze-the-life-out-of-the-game philosophy. So he'll be in his comfort zone.

All good. No need for pessimism.

Don't forget MBS and BSF, please! :)

We need the passing game first. I don't care if it's play-action. Setup the run off the fear of Tanner's deadly accuracy in medium passes.

How many snaps was Wright on the field? It seems like MBS22 and CAB7 have been the straws that stir the drink.

He had a nice first down reception on the drive that ended with the first int.

Seems like he has lost out on some targets, compared to early in the year. But he's in there.

Tanner only needs the play call and good protection to pass. We trust our depth at RB, LB, DL, and OL. Yet Sanford has some fear of our depth at receiver and pulls into the shell when CRAB is out.

We have tons of young receivers who came with great offer sheets. Play some of them and throw the ball.

Going into a shell if Chris is out is like kneeling when Mo went down and, then laying down when Trey went down. We have a lot of talent on the sidelines. Use it.

every game for the Gophers is a mystery. Who will play? What will the play-calling be like? Which Tanner Morgan will show up?

this season is a high-wire act. hopefully it will not end up like the Flying Wallendas in Detroit.

The bad play-calling pretty much leads to Morgan playing bad.

Will Sanford actually be doing the playcalling, or is he just a frontman at this point with a shadow-OC doing the heavy lifting??

Find out! Next week! On ........... The Gopherhole!

Our culture sustains us, and, what happened to the wallendas in Detroit? did they like fly or something?
