Take the ratings with a grain of salt. Ohio State rated 15th, lower than Nevada. Lower than Oregon State (2 losses), Lower than California (2 losses including getting absolutely drilled by Nevada).....o by the way, 2 loss Cal is rated higher than unbeaten Nevada whom they lost to 51-32.

Those rankings suck until at least the 9th game of the year.

Withers was the best X's and O's coordinator Brew ever hired. He was inexperienced his first year and didn't realize that without the athletes you can't be as aggressive. Had he stuck around, the defense would have been better under him than it was under Roof or Cosgrove.
