Sad story, former recruit Rajaan Bennett killed

From the Tennessean:
Running back Rajaan Bennett, the highest-rated recruit in Vanderbilt's 2010 football signing class, died early this morning in an apparent murder-suicide at the family's home in Powder Springs, Ga.

It was his mother's ex-boyfriend did it, and he shot another sibling as well before committing suicide. Cops were at the front door when the shooting happened.

Wow, that is sad. It looks like he died a hero protecting his mother from an ex boyfriend turned stalker. I remember him as someone I was hoping we would sign. RIP Rajaan.

what a terrible story. Many of us (including myself) have no idea what type of home-life these kids come from.
