Ryan Leaf #2

I thought the same exact thing today. He's going to be a flop.

What a Richard. How do you cheer for a guy like this?? I was kind of pulling for tamu as they entered the SEC and this twerp has single handedly spoiled that.

Johnny Manziel is a D-Bag. No way around it. None.

I liked what Holtz had to say about disciplining the stars of the team, and if you discipline at the top, it trickles down to everyone. It reminded me of the example Kill set with Barker, and what is going on with a recent star recruit in Andre McDonald. Clearly, neither of those guys are on the level of Manziel, but Kill clearly doesnt mind disciplining players when they need discipline, despite who they are.

Edwards, Barker, and McDonald also are all MN kids. I find it interesting that Kill has no problem laying the law down.

Unfortunately with some young men, they view discipline as a violation of human rights, as evidenced by Barker. At one point, I was fully in favor of bringing Barker back as we needed talent at WR, but I now understand I was wrong about that. You simply cant let a kid do what he did, and let him off the hook.

These are the shirts that the Rice band wore today.

I keep going back and forth, trying to decide if Johnny M is Ryan Leaf II or Todd Marinovich II, neither is someone to aspire to.

I can't stand this kid. That said, the NFL is full of dicks. No reason he can't be a good pro.

He reminds me of Brian Bosworth. The kind of guy that you love if he's on your team, but the rest of the world hates.

I actually like his college game. But he won't be a good pro. Plus, I think he'll flame out long before then. Someone will give him a chance, but my opinion is he'll never be a starter...

The kid can not stay out of trouble. He will have a hard time in his career. Burning the candle way to fast on both ends. He needs someone to handle him and settle him down.
