Rutgers Greg Schiano press conference ahead of Minnesota.

I have said many times....if PJ isn't our coach...who do you want? Who would you prefer, like better?
It certainly ain't this guy. Go Gophers!

I watched Schiano's press conference. He's clearly delivered a lot of press conferences in the past. Compliment the other team. Compliment the other team's coach. Call out some players for playing well on the other team. Talk about the improvement you have seen on your own team. Highlight a few individuals on your team that have shown improvement. Exit podium or desk microphone as soon as possible.

So pretty much every coaches early week press conference then.

Preview game conferences are so weird in that you really can't say much.

I do think PJ says more than most, but even then ... what can you say?

Fleck definitely says more than a lot of coaches on most topics. He is tight lipped about injuries which bugs some people but very open about other aspects of the program.

Fleck has always seemed to enjoy press conferences a lot more than many other head coaches who clearly only do them because they have to and you can tell would rather be anywhere else.

I haven't watched yet, but if I had to guess:
"Yeah, you know, they're a really tough team and have found a way to win four in a row. That's not easy, especially in this conference. Their defense is really tough as expected under Fleck and their quarterback Max Brosmer has looked really efficient. So, we have our work cut out for us. We're going to be looking over film this week and making sure we're prepared and focused so we can execute on Saturday."
