Russell Wilson the NFL's #1 QB!?!?

Whoops what?

This article was written in 2012. His predictions:

That the Seahawks would win 11-12 games...Correct

That the Seahawks would win the NFC West...Wrong

That the Seahawks would make the Super Bowl...Wrong

That Russell Wilson would be considered the #1 QB in the NFL...Wrong; he didn't even make the Pro Bowl initially (he was later selected as an injury replacement)

So, as I accurately stated...a terribad set of predictions. Boy, you sure got me, didn't you?
It's cute how you changed his predictions and then said they were wrong. Don't ever stop being you. You are the smartest and always right.

What on Earth are you smoking? Those are his exact predictions, verbatim.

"when it happens, you'll hear more about Wilson than any other quarterback this season: More than Brady, more than Rodgers, more than Peyton Manning, more than Tim Teb— actually, you won't hear more about Wilson than Tim Tebow. ESPN and the NFL Network will make that impossible. But everyone else? Hell yeah!"

Sorry bud, you can't be a stickler for the tiniest details on everyone else and be so sloppy and get away with it. Besides, no one with a modicum of common sense would argue that this prediction was way off, except someone desperate to defend their huge ego. Sure, he only accomplished some of those goals in year one, and all of them in year 2. Simmons prediction was pretty darn on the mark for a rookie second round QB.

Holy sh1t, did you even read the article? The article was specifically about his predictions for the 2012 season, along with his power ranking of QBs for that season. My analysis of his poor predictions is spot-on. The details are perfect. What he did in 2013 is irrelevant to the article.

Dang! You are right, he did say Wilson would be #1. You are also wrong, the prediction wasn't way off, Wilson had a great rookie season and outperformed his draft grade. But not wrong enough to warrant my comments. Apologies.
