The longest run this season is 29 yards. Only four runs over 20 yards.
 

We used to get 20 yard runs about 5 times a half, lol.......
 


I knew it was bad, but those stats are illuminating to say the least. Pretty much sums it all up.
 

That tends to happen when you don't have a top running back or a decent OL.
 


I am not an expert in coaching, but I thought the point of the O-Line was to actually block the defensive players. On many plays, the linemen move in a general direction, sort of get in the way (sometimes) of a guy. Often our linemen never lay a hand on a guy. What happened to "block the guy in front of you" then let the RB find a hole? SDSU ran some very BASIC running plays and had some success, even though their RB looked like a midget and linemen were outsized. Our O-Line should have been able to destroy their tiny D-Line, but we couldn't run at all.

Yeah, and they are evenly split between: Gray, Eskridge, Bennett, and Whaley. No player has more than one run of 20+. The offense lacks explosion.
