I haven't even watched it yet. It's a long one.
 

Watched a couple minutes ago. Fast forwarded through the guy singing a song about a girl. Royce praises Tubby.

Thanks for saving me about 4 minutes of my life. To save everyone else, fast forward to minute 8:03, and he has about a 30 second praise, and that's about it.
 

Royce really gets off on this stuff, it's dumb to give him all this attention.
 

Well Royce should obviously major in marketing cause he's a marketing genius. He's getting us to all watch him and his crew do music. The kid actually seems like a smart guy. I can see why Tubby hasn't given up on him like most others on here have. But the dude needs to quit hanging around those losers though.
 


Well, at least the kid has goals. It's nice to see he still has a lot of respect for Tubby, even after all of this.

The clip is more of a "White and Brown Entertainment" plug than anything.

Haha I just have to laugh at this...he is just showing everyone up by making us watch him promote his brand, and he hasn't even played a college game yet...This guy is pretty smart for what he's doing...J-Strings aka crazy white boy should be edited out of this, doesn't fit in at ALL!!! I wonder if they used godaddy.com get get their domain?
 

Gut reaction while I listen to the not-so-talented white kid play and I wait for whatever the "truth about Tubby" is...He's surrounded by leaches who are trying to use his popularity and notoriety for their own personal gain.

...and there it is...Nothing but a 10 second plug for how great Tubby is.

That'll be the last time I waste any time on these videos.
 




+2 malik...+2...there are tons of college students at the U as good or better than him. The classic leach..
 


I liked it. It helps to show another side to Royce...verus only knowing him from stupid message board posts and speculation. He seems to be able to focus on this...hopefully it helps him keep out of trouble. My guess is that he just was (is?) hanging out with the wrong crowd. At any rate, how many 18/19 year olds have ambition to do this...not many.

I hope things work out...
 

I have no way of knowing, but I've got to believe that Tubby probably doesn't want his name pushed into these things, particularly when the song is fairly profane. I'm guessing this is the last we'll see of a Royce video using Tubby's name to promote it. Tubby is old school and this kind of stuff will drive an old school guy nuts. Royce should tread carefully here, IMHO.
 


I liked it. Royce early on says that he is a music major - and the video is a nice looking and sounding package from a freshman music major. He speaks well and certainly is enthused about music and basketball....Well done Royce.
 

I thought at the end, maybe we were gonna get to see royce spit some rhymes over that auto-tune song, but that was a just a teaser too, damn.

So who do we like better:

T-Storm or J-Strings?

I gotta go with the man T....with his line about Royce "dunking on your starting five"

I thought Royce was gonna drop a lil somethin too lol.

It was aight. J-Strings could use some tightening, but it was live, off the cuff, so I'll cut him some slack. T-Storm was pretty legit tho.

This was about what I expected, not much he could say about Tubby, I figured it was just a pull in. Best part I liked was that he says he can't wait to step on the Barn and play for him.
 

Has Royce ever heard the story about the boy that cried wolf? At some point his "real story" marketing campaign is going to backfire. I'd be much happier if he would make a video appologizing to his "fans", teamates and the U for his stupid mistake(s), and to let them know it'll never happen again, rather than trying to promote his friends' music careers.

the only problem i have with this video......

is royce is wearing an oakland a's hat and then a cincy reds hat. huh?!?! two horrible team and two horrible cities. you best be reppin' minneapolis and a twins TC hat next time royce! you're slippin' brotha!

I'll take Royce's video as a step in the right direction. Anything that keeps him busy, keeps him out of malls or away from places he's not supposed to be is a positive.

Full disclosure: I didn't watch the video, nor will I. Utter nonsense from the way it sounds.
