Rotoworld's John Norris ranks Cobb as #4 RB for 2015 NF Draft

5th Best or 8th best

I think he will be very effective in the NFL given the right opportunity. Cobb has a knack for getting yards when there are no holes. Not many backs have that ability. Everybody knew he was going to carry the ball on the defense. It's not like we might do much else...we got back to Leidner running but that didn't happen until later in the season and Cobb was consistent all season.

But he is likely to go 2nd or 3rd round at the highest unless some NFL team sees the above as I see it. The way he runs, his 40 time would not be any factor for me. Not gonna pass on him because he logs in at a higher number on a given day in his 40 time. My reason is because of his unique style, patience, balance and power. So many times the first guy misses him and that has nothing to do with 40 time.

Draftbreakdown's Luke Easterling has a 2nd round grade on Cobb and ranks him the #4 RB

As I mentioned above, Cobb is a complete back who will be able to contribute on all three downs at the next level. He has the frame to handle a full workload of touches, and he was easily the most impressive back at the Senior Bowl to me. He may not be the most flashy back in this class, but he has the tools to be very productive right away.
