Rodrick Williams Jr.

Smart kid, wish I could have been a fly on the wall for to see what Kill said to him.

Listen kid..We beat them 2 years in a row now - we have the pig - they suck so join us...and who hate Iowa? We hate Iowa.

From BlairRivals:

"Confirmed with his coach that #Iowa had offered #Minnesota commit Rodrick Williams Jr. but he says he's sticking with the #Gophers."

pig eye's trying to be like becky. If you can't get the player, don't admit you ever offered him. Looks better on paper that way.

Looks like Kill took a page out of Ferentz' book.

This is how I imagine the conversation:

Which looks like the better place to be?

I know the jist of what your getting at, but it is a matter of preference. While most would agree that the city is better than "small town" Iowa City, it is not everyones cup of tea. I love the Gophers, but I CANNOT WAIT to move from the Twin Cities. But again, agree to disagree.

I probably should have said "more fun place to be"

I agree that it's not for everyone, but the vast majority of young people would prefer a larger city to a smaller town. I only say that because places like the Twin Cities and Chicago get absolutely flooded with young people who recently graduated college, while places like Mankato and Bemidji don't get a large migration of young people. That's partially to do with the jobs, but it's also just a fact of life. On average, young people flock to more urban areas.
