Rodney changed the flow of the game in the first half and turned what could have been a 3 point festival in Philly, into La couldn't stop the MN leaper down low. Rodney could feel he was dominating - you could see it in his reactions. Love to see the Gophers exceed their top 84 status. (yes we've cracked the top 84!).

The question becomes with more beef down low in 2012/13, can Rodney play the 3 and/or 4 (depending again on the Trevor returns issue), get mismatches, ask for the ball, post up, drive, increase the frequency of his little 6-8 ft jumper which he shoots pretty well, and become a consistent mid teens scorer?

Hollins squared (and Welch - OO? Chip?) can take some of the load off of the outside. Rodney will have the opportunity and experience to succeed. How will he respond?

As the ESPN guy said - if Rodney finds a consistent 10-12 foot jump shot he is an NBA first rounder.

If only that was so easy to achieve for Rodney. We have heard that for three years.

Over the past five games, he averaged 15.8 points, 7 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2 blocks, and 1.8 steals.

He has come a long ways this year. He could be 1st team All-B1G next year if he continues to improve.

Rodney was great tonight. Really answered the bell.
