As Wisconsin has won the vast majority of recent axe games, Gopher fans can often downplay (in typical understated Minnesotan modesty) the validity of the rivalry. Well, ESPN has provided a convenient recap of the history of this week’s rivalry games. You can see it here:

From a completely objective perspective (actually, not really) the B1G can boast the most healthy rivalries of any conference. They are the longest running and most closely contested. Other than the Iron Bowl, most are so absurdly lopsided I can’t believe they are even considered rivalries. Take pride, Minnesota.
