Ricky Rubio, JJ Barea and Gorgui Dieng in attendance

I think Pitino should take the team to the Wolves game tonight after practice to give back the support!

Thanks. Wish Sam would come to a game once in awhile (maybe he does, I just don't see him). He's one guy I'd personally like to thank for all the great memories, especially '97. Of course, maybe that's why he doesn't go to many games. Who needs the hassle of people approaching you while you're trying to spend time with your family & watch the game.

I still remember someone in the media calling Sam the "Jewish Jordan", and then his mom politely correcting said media by reminding them the Jacobson family was Catholic.

It's cool to see the Wolves organization showing the Gophers some love. I wish the Vikings would do a little more of that towards Gopher football. I apologize if they do and I am not aware of it.

They do more for UND than they do with the gophers, they even have some scholarship program with UND, not sure they understand what state is paying for that new shinny staduim the team is getting.

Only if Love comes to a game. Gotta negotiate a bit.
Love came to quite a few games his first year here.
Aaron Robinson has been coming regularly for years, and was at the 2 NIT games I was at (don't know about last night). He was even on Kiss Cam!

Former Viking Jimmy Kleinsasser (UND alum) funds the scholarship and asks the Vikings to help promote it. It's not the Vikings fault that no current or former Vikings want to fund a U of M scholarship.

I see Hoffarber and Abu-Shamala at virtually every game. Aside from the obvious Ben Johnson (for you smart asses) can anyone recall any other ex-Gophers being at least semi-regulars?

I glanced over at Blake and Jamal during the Rouser several times last night. The whole crowd was into it, clapping along, spelling out "Minnesota," and these guys are part of a handful of people in the building still sitting on their @$$ and looking disinterested. It's only a small gesture, but I still got a little irritated at this.

I've noticed this too and definitely irritates me. I have never seen them do this at any game, even once. Do they feel they are too good to show a little spirit, even once a game?
