Am I missing something? I know there's people who don't like Hansbrough, but is he really this hated? I haven't gotten this sense at all. My sense is fans of college basketball for the most part respect the heck out of him. I certainly wouldn't put him anywhere near the JJ Redick factor in terms of being hated.

Any guy of his stature & success who decides to come back for his senior year, not to mention throw caution to the wind & jump from the balcony of a frathouse into a pool has my respect. I love watching him play, and more importantly, the way he plays. All business, none of the look-at-me crap. Refreshing.

I agree with you about Hansbrough's talents and on-court demeanor. Best line in the article is from Hansbrough's father:
"...if someone suddenly told these people, 'Hey, Tyler is going to play for you guys,' would they still hate him? I don't think so."
Of course, if UNC played us at the Barn, would our younger fans be any different?

Love the way he plays. Love the way he carries himself on the court. No showboat crap, not even a little.

I don't hate on Psycho T at all. He's a great player. I just hate on all the media who literally drool over everything he does, like he is the single only player in the entire country that plays hard all the time. I mean seriously, he'll shoot a jump shot: "Tyler Hansbrough is the hardest working player in AMERICA!" It's like, really? Just stop, the kid's talented, let it be lol.
