Reusse theory: Big 3 waiting to see if U brings in dynamic HC

Hey, I could have googled it, but that wouldn't have given me the opportunity to try to make a point.

One thing to consider for the Big 3. If they go somewhere else and are wildly successful, will be viewed highly and will be appreciated by that team and community. If Tubby or his replacement gets some non-Mn native to come here because we missed that Big 3 player, and this non-native Gopher is wildly successful, like many before him, we will adopt this young man and be forever appreciative.

All of that is obvious and a no-brainer.

But what if they go elsewhere and end up being a flop or just average?! And what of the non-native that comes here and is a flop or just average?! Will we forever love this guy, will that outstate school forever love that Mn native who flopped for them?!

Realistically?! Probably no in both situations. It's just the hard reality of the world. People love winners and well, we tend to forget about the flops or those who were just average.

But, what if one of the Big 3 does come here, and flops or is just average?! What are the chances that he'll STILL be treated well by the state of Minnesota?!

Better than the chances he'd be treated well by the state of North Carolina or Kentucky if he went to either of those schools and flopped or was just average.

Or is my opinion skewed because I would like to see 1 or all of the Big 3 to come here?! I am biased, absolutely, but not sure my bias changes what I believe to be just a simple reality in the world?!

There has been some talk of it, not so much from the players, but from the people interviewing the players, and none of the players has said that the thought didn't cross their mind.

And how would or could we get all 3?!

Well, it starts by getting 1. Getting 1 gives the other 2 that much more incentive to join the 1. And then if we get 2 of the 3, well, that increases our chances exponentially of getting all 3.

Quick, who were the FAB FIVE????

They will be remembered for the REST OF CBB HISTORY.

And who knows? We could have 4 schollies open, and if we got the Big 3, maybe Tyus buddy from Chicago would think it fun to be one of the FANTASTIC FOUR?!

big 3

It is fun to talk about in the "if we won the lottery I would buy..." kind of way. But in reality there is little chance we get one of the big 2. I have a feeling a scorer like Rashad Vaughn, #9 prospect, will be one and done. Tyus #2 prospect, probably will play 2 years. An undersized as far as pro pf in Reid.. probably would play 4 years. I think we probably have the best shot at Reid and may get him for 4 years. I also like our chances with 2015 Illikanen. H. Ellenson playing with his brother is over-rated, brothers playing on different teams is the norm.
For those of you who don't keep track ESPN 2012 players: #1 N. Nolens mass. prep to Kentucky, #2 muhammed/h. school in nevada/ ucla. #3 I. Austin/ texas/Baylor #4 tarczweski /NHprep/Arizona. #5 kyle anderson/NJ/ UCLA #6 S ADams/ N Zeland/Pitt #7 A Bennett/Canada/UNLV #8 C Ridley/ texas/texas #9 G Jerret/CAL/Arizona #10 G Harris/Indiana/ Mich s.

In summary only the 2 Texas high school guys signed with a Texas college-and their are quite a few good colleges there. Some players switch coasts. Lots don't even play anwhere near where they grow up. Indiana has re-emerded on the national scene and they still cannot keep Harris from going to M st.
