"If Jim Harbaugh does return to Michigan it appears he'll be paid handsomely to do so.
According to multiple reports from Joe Pequeno and NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, Michigan has offered Harbaugh the coaching job in Ann Arbor. Both reporters say the offer is for six years, though Pequeno says the contract is worth $49 million and Rapoport says $48 million. Either way, if accurate, Harbaugh would be the highest-paid coach in college football were he to accept, surpassing Alabama's Nick Saban."
