"The top-seeded Minnesota Gophers (23-13) could be without center Elliott Eliason in Tuesday's NIT semifinal against Florida State, per reports.

Eliason, a junior who ranked third in the Big Ten in blocked shots, turned his ankle in practice this week and was seen in a walking boot Saturday at the Bierman Athletic Complex. While he's not ruled out, coach Richard Pitino reportedly said redshirt junior center Mo Walker is expected to start at Madison Square Garden against the Seminoles."

Hope Mo does not get in foul trouble...

"The Gophers were giving up size and strength to the Seminoles at virtually every position, so their best chance to hang in there came from behind the 3-point arc. They came out firing, hitting five of their first seven from long range. The Hollinses each hit one during a 12-0 run that gave Minnesota a 23-12 lead midway through the first half."

Damn, a tough matchup is going to be even more tough if EE can't play. We'll be really small.

Tough match-up, however we are overdue for some massive Hollinsanity! C'mon Dre, step it up like Austin!

EE will probably play but very little so we need a big game out of Mo and need him to stay out of foul trouble....man of course this happens to us.

Wow, what frigging luck. Florida State's biggest asset is their very athletic big men. A healthy EE slowed them down and rebounded against them back in December. I'm now very concerned about the ability for the Gophers to rebound at either side of the floor, and to defend the interior Tuesday. I hope Mo proves me wrong.

Rotten.

Bad match-up for this. Hopefully EE can at least give us 10-15 min off the bench. Charles Buggs better eat whatever he ate before the Iowa game as well.

Don't worry...I heard he's consulting AJ Barker for a second opinion...should be fine

Throw Jeff Hagen out there in a 55 jersey. Do you think FSU would really catch on?

Well let's hope it isn't too serious as we will need both EE and Mo to win.
