The Gophers' recent plight reminds me of an old saying that pertains to golf:

One bad round, forget about it.
Two bad rounds, go back to the basics
Three bad rounds, get a lesson
Four bad rounds, take up tennis.

So here we are, after two bad games (albeit against what I think many would consider quality opponents at this point). Sounds like Tubby is adhering to the above-mentioned philosophy of going back to the basics;

Get the ball inside.

I'm on board with that. At this point, I think it's the right approach. I guess we'll see where that takes us. It's something they never should have gotten away from but it's natural for guys to panic and try to take things on themselves, 1-on-1 style, when the chips are down sometimes.

Apparently, some on here are ready for the "take up tennis" approach, ready to throw in the towel with more than half a BT season left.

If there's one thing that frustrates me about the last couple of games, in the big picture perspective, it's that nobody has really stepped up when the team's been faced with the adversity they've faced lately. That's a little disconcerting but hopefully that changes in the next few weeks.
