Remember 2005-06

We were playing MSU, on a Saturday and they were ranked #12 in the nation. We were 2-7 in the Big Ten (and one of those was against PSU - the other, Puchtel's break out game against IU). I don't think many of us thought we had a chance, and we knocked them off.

This would be much less of an upset than 05-06 was. I'm not naive, I know the odds are certainly stacked against us, and the bad news seems to keep coming (like it has, all season long)...but crazier things have happened.

Like I said in a another thread, this game is a pick 'em in Vegas. If this program expects to be relevant again, they should be expected to win games like this.

Vegas odds makers or not - I like our chances whenever we're at home. Tubby's gotta beat Izzo again at some point, and he's overdue for his tenure here. Why not now?

Ok, so there is a host of reasons why the Spartans should beat us tomorrow. I'm just staying positive.
