From what I've read, no. This class is too small.

Porter is a legit target and is taking an official here, he also has a better offer list then Jeff Jones or any other recruit besides Ragnow and Mayes

I think we'd take Mims and James if they want to come on board. Porter is a backup option in my opinion, I could be wrong. One reason the staff likes Blasingame so much is they believe he could play some corner if need be. I agree on corner depth, hopefully BBC is able to come back and Wells finally stays healthy.

I'd take Elmore's (and maybe McKinzy's) offer list over Porter's.
 


I don't really care about offer lists. Steven Montgomery had a better offer list than any other DB on the team. I've watched some tape on all 3. They can all play. Porter also played at least some at QB based on game tapes I've seen, looks like a very good athlete. So does James, he looks like he has fantastic speed and ball skills which make up for the fact that he's the smallest of the 3. Mims also looks like a good athlete and at 6'2" 180 he has a lot of size for a cb. I'd be happy with any of them. But, all that said, I thought Montgomery was pretty impressive too haha, still has a couple years left to show it.
 

My wish list of "realistic" priorities would be these 7 players in order

1. Frank Ragnow
2. Melvin Holland Jr
3. Craig James
4. Martavius Mims
5. Tegray Scales
6. Josh Black
7. Rodney Smith

FWIW, according to Rivals, Porter has committed to Washington State, does not have a Minnesota offer and, is not scheduled to visit.
