My personal impromptu list. Let me know if I am missing someone or should update rankings etc. I listed which recruits would be 1st, 2nd choice, etc. (1,2,3,4), based loosely on Johnny's and others' comments.

Chad Calcaterra*** 610 Offer 4 Cloquet
Alex Kirk**** 611 Offer 1 Los Almos, NM
Jacob Thomas*** 603 Offer 3 Columbia Heights
Cory Joseph***** Prep 603 Offer 3 Hernderson, NV (Ajax, ONT)
Phil Pressey**** 510 None Dallas, TX
Kyle Kelm*** 609 None Randolph, WI
Jelan Kendrick***** 606 Offer 2 Atlanta, GA
DJ Peterson** 604 None Hopkins
Trevor Releford*** 510 Offer 2 Shawnee Mission, KS
Casey Prather**** 605 Offer 3 Jackson, TN
Hector Harold*** 605 None Northfield, MA
Mike McCall*** 600 None Chicago, IL
Richard Soloman**** 608 None Torrance, CA
Harrison Barnes***** 608 Offer 1 Ames, IA
Ben Mills** 700 Offer 3 Hartland, WI
Jake Krueser*** 611 Offer 2 Mendota Heights
Ray McCallum**** 601 Offer 1 Detroit, MI
Kevin Noreen*** 610 None Transitions Charter
Alec Brown** 611 None Winona
Maurice Walker 610 None Brewster Academy, NH
Rayvonte Rice 602 None Orlando, FL

It is a big list, Tubby could go in a lot of directions.

I would think Cory Joseph is a "1", but maybe that is because I think it will be tough to get him.

Still dreaming of a Barnes, Joseph, Kirk class. Would instantly put us in the Final Four hunt in 2011.

Agreed, Corey Joseph is definitely a 1. Also, didn't Calcaterra's offer get removed from the table?

Others can speak moore knowledgably than I on this, but my understanding is that Jacob Thomas would be higher than a three. It's not how badly we want him, it's whether he can qualify.

Interesting post. I guess I agree with most of it, but there are a few I'm pretty puzzled on. I actually don't know a few of the guys with "none". I would also put Thomas higher, and I'm not sure how Relerford and Kreuser (especially Kreuser) are higher than Joseph. I'd probably also put Kendrick at a 1, although I don't know exactly how you were doing the numbers.

Follow up

My rankings assume that they will sign one guard, one wing and one "big man". But yes I would think that Joseph would be more of a get than McCallum, making Releford the 3rd option at guard. Thomas should read "4".

Ideal class: Joseph, Barnes, Kirk
If they all get nabbed: McCallum, Kendrick, Krauser
Best three regardless of position: Barnes, Kendrick, Joseph

Oh, okay, that makes more sense then. I don't really understand how Kreuser is a 2 or why we necessarily need a big man this year if we can't get Kirk. I'd take a much better player at a position we don't need yet over taking a not very good player at a position that we "need". Yeah, we lose both centers at the same time, but I don't think it does us much good to get a player of Kreuser's quality just because of the timing. I haven't seen him play, but looking at his profile on the different recruiting sites, he isn't good. The fact that he's that tall and has that little interest from decent schools makes me think he probably doesn't have a lot of potential either.

DJ Peterson has an offer from Baylor.

Austin Hollins

What do we know about Austin Hollins? I think he's from Tennessee?
