I know a handful of 'holers from get togethers, tailgating, etc. But I suspect that there are a lot more G'holers who are at football and basketball games that I've never met.

So, I was thinking that one solution -- and one that might bring in some revenue as well -- would be for GopherHole to design some GopherHole fan-wear via CafePress.com (or similar outfit). I know I'd buy either a GopherHole.com baseball hat and/or button ... suspect others would as well. And, I'd enjoy asking another fan wearing GopherHole gear what their moniker was and introducing myself.

So what do others think? Would you buy GopherHole.com fan-wear such as a hat, a button and/or a t-shirt and wear it to games? Is there any interest in this?

BTW, you can vote for multiple items if you'd buy two or more items. And, for contrarians, you can even vote for "yes, I'd buy such-and-such" and "No, I'm not interested." A fatal flaw in these polls ;)

bump ... apparently just voting in the poll won't bump the thread up and it's drifted way back in the queue

I'd definitely get a hat if they were nice hats (fitted style and cool looking).

I was thinking I might just write my moniker on a piece of athletic tape and put it across the back of my shirt like the name on a jersey.

Damn Winnipeg, that was funny. I needed a laugh today.

Ah you brazen Canadians. We'll be looking for you next time you attend a home game ... hope it's not the game versus SDS or that you're sitting in the bleachers. BTW, are you one who stands all the time, a lot or rarely? ... :)

As long as the shirt was primarily gold, I could be interested.

I too would get a hat if it was fitted and not adjustable......it will probably be more than $15 to create one of those?

Otherwise, a T shirt would be great too......or both!

I voted for a hat or a pin...but now that I'm rethinking it, I'm thinking a pin would be hard to spot. I would only do it if the hat was cute, and now one of those duck brims that old men wear...then it'd be on like donkey kong!

A warm Goldie bomber hat with flaps with "Gopherhole.com" emblazoned in the front & back will be nice. We might as well make it an advertisement piece and a comfortable one to wear to games on cold days. I'd pay $$$ for it. My son just purchased on of those bomber hats for the cold spell. It felt really warm and comfortable when I tried it on.

Would it be ok then, GL, if I wore a maroon jock strap over my head instead of a duck brim?

Made a similar type of suggestion on 2-9-2012 in 7th Annual Survey (link above).

What improvements or changes would you like implemented? Having categorical subject threads to make navigation easier and geared to the variety of interests posters have. (eg. Recruiting, History, Articles, Interviews, Regular Season, Tailgating, General. Special icons to recognize valuable insight or well-state responses. (eg. a Block M+1 icon, or a Goldy icon holding a +1). Host an Awards Tailgate called the "Goldy's" for different categories (Post of the Year, Troll of the Year, Thread Hijacker of the Year, Story of the Year, Debate of the Year, Crow-Eater of the Year are some ideas). Show up in your t-shirt (see donation response) with moniker, get a goldy trophy, and have fun with it. Troll of the Year would get a little wood-carved troll from Mt. Horeb, WI (Troll Capital of the World). Lastly, I like reading upcoming opponent coach's pressers to get a different perspective so GopherinIowa's suggestion to get interviews with opposing radio guys I'd really appreciate.

If you decided not to donate, what would make you donate in the future? 1st year on it - will consider donating in future; May want to incorporate a GopherHole.com t-shirt (logo on front) with Moniker printed on back with x $ donated. I'd love to see 100's of Gopherhole t-shirts at games with Monikers on back. Nice to put face to name, meet people, promote the board, etc.

But when Dr.Don says something that is indeed something, that's really something. :)
