I am just like many of you who want our Football team to play some solid competition, prior to conference play. In reality though, we are at a point where easing into conference play seems to be the smarter choice. Untill this program develops to at least respectability, we need to avoid potential pitfalls. I may not agree 100% with Jerry, but I can respect his intended path.
Also at least Kill is being open and honest about scheduling weaker opponents. He is not beating around the bush on playing weaker competition. Most coaches would never do this.
