Go Gophers!!

Nice house. Bigger than Brewster's too.

That's only $16,000 a month. No big deal.

Looks like a frickin' golf clubhouse from the back.

I hear the exercise room is still "like new" as well.

Other than a coach at Michigan, who else would buy that in AnnArbor or be able to afford it!?

If you bothered to look at a map Ann Arbor is about 20 mi for either Dearborn or Detroit. I would imagine a senior Ford executive could afford it along with many other executives of other automobile manufacturers and related industries.

I did look at a map and it's ~ 38 mi to Dearborn and 6 mi more to DT Detroit (Google Maps). If an auto exec flew by personal helicopter, it would still be more than 20 mi. While this may not be a deal breaker for a Ford or GM exec, they should expect an hour driving commute one way.

I would save 3mil by buying a fixer upper in MoTown and reverse commuting.

Google maps says 41/42 minutes from campus depending on route. If the house is located close to 14 it'll be less. Anything less than an hour a good commute almost anywhere in the world.
