Re new coach: can we assume?

That the longer it takes the more likely it is a presently employed coach who dosn't want an early announcement? Otherwise - if an unemployed coach - they could go ahead right away so as to get a jump on new recruits and reassure old recruits and the public, too.

Not necessarily, I think we can assume that the candidate pool for interview might consist of a couple of currently employed coaches (either HC or a coordinator) that need to wait until closer to the end of the season (late by week or time in between end of season and dates of conference championship games) to interview.

Maturi was on CCO this morning and made it sound like they have a list of candidates they are looking at and currently getting interviews set up. It sounded like the process is moving along.
