During the IA game in 1992 Ray did me a favor by issuing my marraige proposal for me. It was done over the radio between plays in the first quarter. The following Monday I called him to thank him and tell him she said "YES" and he ended up interviewing us for the WCCO radio news that night. Eventually we became a short chapter in his book "Gopher Tales". The chapter was entitled "The Proposal".
