Rape allegations at house of Tommy Armstrong and Jordan Westerkamp

Like these?

I hope those students didn't get any subsidized loans if they can afford nice gowns like that.

Amazing how you don't understand words and phrases aren't always used the way they were originally used.

I am amazing. My parents always said so. Sorry if my post got you all hot and bothered.

No wonder you're all hot and bothered

So your response to not liking my use to the use of a phrase is to start repeating it over and over.

Are you old enough to use the Internet?

Use it over and over, but in different contexts with different meanings. I learned today that you can have classic phrases mean whatever you want now-a-days. Amazing stuff.

I wouldn't say it's necessarily petty jealousy. In the offseason, three topics seem to come up quite frequently. 1. Athletes committing crimes. 2. The "enslavement" of college athletes and how poor they are because of regulations around being unable to work, requirements of their sport, etc.. 3. How boosters are paying kids under the table or giving them special deals/treatment. Then this story comes up about an alleged crime at the house where star players are residing, which from all appearances is very nice and not typical of a college student.

This naturally will bring people to speculate on how they would be able to afford it. The point above about how much the housing costs in Lincoln vs Mpls are probably spot-on, but from the initial glance it appeared suspect. Also, these aren't the kids being investigated for the alleged rape, it happened at their house.

Completely agree with all 3 of your points.

I have no idea what they are right now, but the last college house I lived in had rent of $3,200 a month for a complete dump, and that was in 2002.

Wow. That is insane. I rented a 5 bedroom house right next to Bierman for $2000 a month in 2005. Kinda dumpy, but not awful. We had comparative rents to others in our neighborhood.

The house I lived in had 8 bedrooms, so the per-room rent was exactly the same as yours.
