1. Turnovers and scoring off them. Existed last year. Non-existent this year.
2. 2/3 of team has shown up past 3 weeks. This week ST (return) took the day off. Need a complete game in all phases.
3. Our punt return team is atrocious. No better way to describe it.
4. Brooks ran tough when given a crease. He was impressive.
5. Fade in endzone was 12 yds out of bounds. If you call that play, I don't think you chuck that far out of bounds.
6. NW is going to stomp the Gophs if they can't have a complete game in those phases and create a turnover.
7. 3-1 is awesome for the kids at this point.
8. Offense did look improved. Long way to go.
9. Nice job Santoso! HUGE!
10. When 4th Quarter started, TCU's Doctson had 17 catches for 246 yds and 2 TDs.

Some really nice things today and some God AWFUL things today (return game). Overall, happy with 3-1 though!

Ya, an average throw and we would have scored. A case of Mitch wanting not to make a mistake. I think he knew how lucky he was not to have that one along the sideline to KJ (?) picked off.

Probably right in that. I still think it brings up 2 points:
1. Play was called for wideout to high point it and
2. QB gets the call and needs to give the wideout a chance to high point it.

If QB is gun shy, then call something else. Or......(in private) make it very clear that the pass needs to be placed where they want it......otherwise, it's a wasted down.

Not so sure about NW stompage. They're struggling with Ball state. NW's offense doesn't scare me at all - it'll be a battle of defenses

I really hope this was just a bad day by the defense similar to the Purdue game last year. Need to get healthy too.

Youth was served today, I was impressed with the play of the young guys (Smith, Brooks, Celestin, Gentry, Huff to name a few).

I think it's important to note the word if was used there. We have to create and capitalize on turnovers and play in all 3 phases.
