Qualifications:Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of education and work experience to equal four years
- One year of experience in playing and/or coaching basketball, advanced computer skills, and knowledge of NCAA rules required.

Summary of Core Responsibilities:
Works directly with the head coach, assistant coaches and director of operations in the operation of Division I women’s basketball program.
Prepares for games, practices, , summer youth camps/clinics, alumni and donor functions, and any other special projects assigned.
Breaks down and analyzes opponents; develops and maintains offensive, defensive & in-bounds play self-analysis for head & assistant coaches.
Assists in advancing the department's guiding principles, vision, and strategic plan including its commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, & social justice.
Assists with student manager and male practice player program –identification, recruitment, hiring and scheduling of the student managers and male practice players.
Keenly aware of Campus & Business Office policy/procedures and coaching staff adherence to policy/procedures and reconciliation of travel expenses of coaching staff members.
Assists with in-person campus Recruiting visits-schedule & execution of the visit.
Essential Functions:
15%-Offensive/defensive analysis (Self-Scout)
- Game practice breakdowns – input our offensive data/terminology for games/practices.
- Reports – create and maintain reports used to identify strengths and weaknesses within our systems and provide these to coaching staff so they have the information to know what our tendencies are and what has been successful for us.
15%-Opponent Analysis (Opponent Scout)
- Opponents’ games breakdowns – input data of opponents’ games so we can identify the specific schemes they run as well as similar offenses to ours and how they handle it.
- Reports – create and maintain reports that will provide coaches with detailed information on each opponent’s defense and their tendencies, personnel
- Scouting reports – reports that contain specific information (personnel, tendencies, defensive scheme)
15%-Game Day/Practice Organization
- Responsible for making sure all practice scripts are typed and handed out to the appropriate people on a daily basis and recorded.
- Organizing and creating any diagrams, cards or signals used in our system.
- Creating all game plans and any other “game day” resources that any coach might require.
10% Responsible for Office Organization
- Ensures compliance and adherence policy & procedures with financial reports, purchases, reconciliation, etc.
- Other related duties as assigned by the coaches or director of operations.
15%-Creates and Executes On Campus Recruiting (Unofficial/Official) Experience for Prospects.
- Assist women’s basketball coaching staff in recruiting with organization of recruiting events.
- At the direction of the recruiting coordinator, assists with the planning and execution of on-campus official recruiting visits, game-day visits and financial reconciliation of the recruiting activity at the conclusion.
20%- Alumni & Community Outreach
- Develop & maintain a comprehensive data base of Alumni, student managers, former coaching staff and develop an appropriate cadence for connecting with them.
- Execute an annual or bi-annual Alumni day/weekend
- Coordinate for head coach, an annual community outreach activity/event that builds community involvement and access to the head coach and his staff.
- Assist with donors and facilitating donor-related functions, in conjunction with GGF.
10%- Other
- Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Director of Women’s Basketball Operations.
