Disappointing game to be sure but in fairness it isn't like they lost to a bad team.

I'm happy for those Mankato skaters. Many of them will never get another chance like this...I hear a lot of them will start collecting Social Security next year.

Was huge for UMD to get the bye in the first round with Michigan dropping out due to Covid. That bye definitely helped them in their 5OT game yesterday.

Gophers are the better team tonight, but as we've learned many times in a 1-and-done hockey tournament, anything can happen.

Would be cool for St. Cloud to win so we have 3 Minnesota teams in the Frozen Four.

Fortunately St. Cloud was able to overcome the fact that Boston College also got a "bye" due to Notre Dame dropping out.

It is pretty crazy how old they are. They do a good job of bringing in an all-star team of late bloomers though.
