As I read the threads today, it seems Coach Kill is gaining some momentum as fans lament his hiring a bit more. This is good. I have one question though. Coach Kill is a builder. We probably won't win a BT championship in year one. He will take some time to get a product and system established, but I want to compare this to recruiting. JUCO's are instant hole builders. They are either good or bad and seem to offer almost instant gratification. I think a "big name" would have done this same thing. We would have felt good for a little while and then maybe reality would set in year 3 or 4 and we would be unhappy. Coach Kill is like a high school recruit. He may need a couple years to grow into his position but then he has the chance to be very good after that. We may not see instant gratification, but most things that are worthwhile do not offer that. Patience is a virtue and a quick fix usually doesn't work out too well in the end.

Go Gophs!
