Question regarding maroon wrist band

I was looking at some old photos and saw one of me wearing a maroon wrist band I remember getting at a Gopher game in the Metrodome about 10 years ago. If I remember correctly, it had something to do with creating awareness for a new football stadium. Do any of you Gopher Holers remember these, and did any of you wear one?

Man I remember pins (what ever happened to those, those were cool....) but not wrist bands.

I still have one. They had them at Goldy's Locker Room during the campaign to approve the stadium -- had "Back to Campus" etched into them.

I do remember them. I was just going to write that I didn't and all of the sudden it hit me. I never wore mine (those things bother my wrist), instead I put it on my desk at work. I believe they gave them out at the first home game of '06 to celebrate the bill authorizing TCF Bank Stadium that April.
