PIR = Public Information Request. I see a ton of people upset about JM not bringing in a big name, including myself......at least for an interview (like Leach). Now, Kill might be a great guy and might turn out to be a great coach....I have no idea, but this is not what I expected.

Does anyone know The U's policy on Public Information Request? Is it possible to contact the U and request records on coaches contacted and interviewed along with notes? This happens to my office all the time......I think JM owes it to Gopher Alums and Fans to show us how this all happened.

Anyone know if you can do Public Information Request to the U?

I remember looking into this before - and it looks pretty simple:

I didn't review any of the procedures from when I scanned them a year ago or so - but I believe the only disadvantage the public has over media, is media gets some of the printing for free. Otherwise, you have the right to information as much as anyone else.

Thanks...I do not mind paying for printing. Like I said, we do not charge a lot for printing, but the hours to pput the info. together gets billed to. I appreciate your help!
