Isaiah Asuma is a freshman right? I don’t know if he is considered a future D1 basketball player or not but I have read a few articles about how he is a pretty solid player.

I went to a game last year, and Noah Sundquist (Jr. 6'2") really impressed me.

Very athletic, elevates very easily. Very quick.

He is a good prospect for college basketball (not sure what level), but he is ELITE at baseball.

(edit: I meant Noah Issac's brother with my comments about baseball.) Isaiah is Issac's cousin (as discussed below) and is a basketball prospect but only a freshman so that will play out. Pretty impressively athletic family.)

Just to clarify things....

Isaac Asuma (2024) - Obviously know all about him.

Noah Asuma (2026) - Isaac's brother. Like everyone else said, baseball looks like his best sport, but he is definitely a potential D1 basketball player as well.

Isaiah Asuma (2027) - Isaiah is Isaac and Noah's COUSIN. He already has a recruiting profile on 247sports for basketball. Eric Bossi, who runs the basketball side of the website saw him play with Isaac at the Breakdown Classic and wrote this:

"Finally, the freshman who most stood out was Isaiah Asuma. Physically, he appears to be almost a carbon copy of his Minnesota bound big brother Isaac and he was mentally up to things during a 20-point effort. He’s already got functional strength, is a good athlete and showed a nice blend of inside/out game. We’ll see how he does running the show when his brother moves on, but his introductory performance was an impressive one."

Apparently Bossi didn't get the memo on Isaiah being Isaac's cousin either, but sounds like he could be a potential Gopher recruit down the road.

the kid is fearless-- the dunk attempt against Park in their game at Macalester this year was something. Audacious was the word that came to mind. I might have been able to use a different word had he actually made the dunk, but just having the guts to try it was something.

Noah is a great player, but he plays inside as they have little height.
he really has a sf game, and at 6-2 he is probably a div 2 player. Shoots it ok from 3, ok ball handler.
