Hey Ladies!

Me and the dudes from the pigskin board were having a discussion and we were wondering if you could settle it for us?

What percentage of Gopher squeek-ball fans are post-menopausal women? I said "more than 70%" but my fellow GopherHolers on the men's board thought this was too low by an order of magnitude. Any ideas what the official figure is?

I have no idea what the percentage of post menopausal women is and I always enjoy your humor, even you have to admit Westbrook would be our best running back right now!

That is very hard to follow being that the -ball part is similar in football and basketball, but the important part of basket or foot was omitted and replaced by squeek so we have no idea which sport you are referring to. Anyways, I check both boards every day and I'm sure most other truegopher fans do. Go start a fight over at Squeekville or TheSqueek'sNest
 


Wow. Is this guy seriously implying that basketball is a woman's sport? Not that women can't play basketball, but you know what I mean.

What kind of Gopher fan comes over and takes shots at fellow Gopherholers?

I love Gopher football and Gopher basketball but you need to shut up and go away.

Honestly, Gopher football sucks. And Gopher basketball is going to have a very good team this year.
 



Royce White would be the best player on your football team, buddy and Rodney Williams would probably be no. 2
 

I'm not so sure that the football team could even beat the basketball team in a game of intramural flag football. What a lame effort, studbad. :(
 






I don't think the football board could pick a worse time to talk trash (other than the previous ten or so years... oh yeah and the entirety of the 90s... and I guess the 80s minus the Holtz years... and the 70s for that matter... hmm I can see why their is some anger/frustration). Honestly I fell asleep 5 times during the OSU game and I'm in my 20s and not a post-menopausal woman.

Obviously I'm a fan of both, but now's not really the time to be talking smack about Gopher football.

BTW, it's bouncy ball.
 

Squeek-ball is a reference to the sound the ball makes when the Gopher offense moves the ball in a positive direction. Much more prevalent at the Barn than the Bank.

but realistically last year's Gopher basketball offense was about as potent as the Gopher football offense this year - so no infighting.

Secondly, you must realize that Studwell is not trying to pick a fight. He is a notorious granny chaser and is merely trying to identify his next conquest among the different elderly GH'ers.

Do not, I repeat, do not give him your AARP account number. It only serves as a turn-on.

(Sadly, my knowledge of this situation comes from my grandmother. She made a man out of him back in '91.)
 

Studwell must be getting to (or has hit) middle age like I have. As I've hit my 40's, I find myself much more attracted to the moms than the daughters.

I'm a fan of and attracted to both myself. Gopher BB/Gopher FB and Mothers/Daughters.
 

Here is the way it works...When I first started teaching, those HS girls looked really good. I could tell I had been teaching a long time when the mothers of those HS girls looked really, really, really good. :)

Thanks for stopping by with the question. Interesting that you should ask. Why, just the other night a bunch of us were out with our wives and girlfriends wondering what was up with the footballers. We never see you guys at the couple’s events. Not that there’s anything wrong with that!

In any event, we don’t know the answer to your question and it didn’t seem to matter too much because all of the women we were with were pretty hot regardless of their menopausal status. You should come to the next event and check them out if you're interested in that kind of thing.

We do realize that you’re pretty busy over on your board discussing which color tight pants look best on the boys. We’re going to defer to you all on that because the FB board guys do seem to have a really great sense of style and flair. We just can’t come up with those color combinations the way that you all do.

Please be kind enough to let us know the next time the FB team covers the spread.
