in your opinion, where is the best/most convenient place for a person to park if they want to watch the open practices at gibson/nagurski?

thanks

I've got that same question, hoping to make it down to practice the next few days.

yeah, we are thinking about heading there tomorrow (sunday) to watch practice. then again, now that i think about it the parking meters in most of dinkytown are "off" on sundays. so perhaps it will be pretty simple (and obviously cheap) to park relatively close to gibson/nagurski.

would be nice for future reference though to get thoughts from those who have been there on days other than sunday.

Side street are a relatively good option (to the west and north--across from B-N) with school out. You might have to walk two blocks, but that is good for you. There is the ramp across from the McDonald's as well. It is far easier to park for fall practice.

I parked by the train tracks right next to the complex to the northeast. Had no problems there.

You might try McDonald's across the street but watch for the tow-trucks. Ha.

Bring a sh-t pot full of quarters and park at the Complex. I think you can load up to about 2 hours.
About 2.00.

is anyone aware of whether or not they have the new central automated parking kiosks over by the football complex yet? the ones that let you use your credit card/debit card in addition to still using change? i noticed they have those new kiosks over in other parts of dinky town and stadium village. very convenient if you don't keep a lot of extra change sitting around your car or the house. but almost everyone always has a credit card or debit card with them.
