Purdue Hires Ryan Walters

This clearly fits in the school of "hire the opposite."

Brohm a little older and offensive minded, so they hire a young guy who is defensive minded.

But, let's not forget: a DC spends all his time studying and breaking down offenses. He should have a pretty good idea of what type of offense he wants to run. The question is - at his age - does he have the coaching network built up that will allow him to hire solid coordinators and assistants?

That is far from a rediculous idea.
He knows how to coach 3-4, which the Vikings supposedly are now.

If they give up another 400+ yard game to the Colts, I'd fire Donatell's a__ and hire Leonhard the same day.

Won't happen

Ya think Bert makes a move for Leonhard? It probably wouldn't happen, but could be interesting.
And hires Chryst as an offensive consultant who can then convert to OC if/when Lunney gets hired away (he's from the south).

Old-money Wisconsin vs new blood!
