Props to the field crew

I just want to know about the heating coyotes
Was waiting for this to be brought up! Used to be a hot topic on this site but seems very untouched after Saturday. Do we know if the coils are still there and if they work or were turned on against Wisco??? Seems like there was A LOT of snow for a field that is supposedly heated.

Was listening to Gopher Gridiron podcast, Burns said if it is snowing more than a half an inch an hour, the coils can't keep up.

And in this case, they divert the energy to heat the footing and seating area for the band and about 1/3 of the student section.

Makes sense. Ambient air temperature also plays a role, I'm sure.
