Went to the game on Saturday and have to give props to your football team. They came into kinnick with the stadium rocking during a night game against an undefeated team and went punch for punch against us. The crowd noise never fazed your QB who played an outstanding game. It seemed like we were never out of the woods against you guys and I was nervous the entire game.

Ha, IALTO. He's the next Joe Montana, right Matt Millen?
He has a lot of potential that is for sure. He has been a huge difference maker for us this year. If he ever gets to 100% healthy, then watch out. He has some serious wheels that he hasn't been able to show off too much this year.

Not sure if I would put him in that category yet. Certainly has the chance to be a 1st round pick but a long ways to go. Good player though, glad we only have to see him for one more season.

Many thanks - it was a big night and a big game for both schools. A lot of us were surprised the Gophers were so scrappy, given the last second loss to Michigan and the retirement of Coach Kill. The Gophers came through a three game gauntlet - Michigan, Ohio State, Iowa - and never gave up. Iowa should go 11-0 Saturday, but watch out for Nebraska at Lincoln.

I had a good road trip. We had the Philly Cheesesteak at PepperJax. It was good, but a little different than what I'm used to. It was moister and spicier, almost more like an Italian beef. Good though. We watched a women's basketball game between UND and Tennessee-Martin. On the way home we stumbled across the Field of Dreams baseball field. I ran the bases. Then we stopped off at the Effigy Mounds National Monument.
I may say awful things about Iowa, but I don't mean them all. Just most of them. ;-)
