Sid apparently didn't read the article about how long it typically takes to fill a coaching vacancy.
 



The word from those who know him definitely is legit, this guy is mature well beyond 30. You can see the nervousness he has, but just is handling it really well.
 

I cannot believe how poised this kid is for a 30 yo. Very impressive.
 





I don't think he's answered a question badly. Really impressive so far.

Be careful calling him a "kid" some on gopherhole get really upset when the players are called "kids" let alone a coach;)

To Sid's defense, at his age 9 days may be forever!

I was waiting for Sid's question and he didn't let me down. I can't believe the lack of class he has. I'm a younger fan (29), when Sid was in his "glory days" was he the same way? Sid has been old since I was young...
 

I recall being steamed at the Kill hire and he won me over during the press conference. I wasn't that way with Pitino, but if you're on the fence or don't approve of the hire, you need to hear this guy speak. Very impressed.
 







Well, he says he wants to be here long term, but of course, wouldn't expect him to say anything different when directly asked it.

Essentially he said that we have plenty to offer already and that it will come in time. A semi followup was just asked and he repeated that, adding Norwood essentially just got there and hes confident he can get it done

In essence, he said it will be nice to have, but at the moment, there is plenty to work with right now to sell the program. Seemed to want to avoid sounding like he was already making any preemptive excuses.
