The Regents are doing their part to keep Kaler around for a while longer. Good move as he understands the importance of fielding competitive teams, especially football and hoops. He also knows that elevating the football program is a long and difficult process. Kaler has added Woody and Pitino and also has endorsed the need for improved athletic facilities and necessary resources to compete in the BIG. I liked the Kaler hire and even more since he has been on board.

I think he is a good fit. I approve of this.
 



We need Kaler & Teague to stick around for a long time. I always liked Bruininks & Maturi and gave them the benefit of the doubt. But seeing these two guys operate tells me they are heads and shoulders above their predecessors.
 



I am curious to know what Wren thinks of this.
 

He has done a good job, but he, like most university presidents, is compensated too much.

I disagree, he is managing a giant organization with a biennial budget of over $1B and 25,000 employees. If this was a corporation he would probably be considered underpaid.

What fun is having a philosophy if one isn't able to arbitrarily not apply it when it suits them?
 



I simply believe college presidents make too much money and college athletes don't make enough. I don't know what the problem is. Both should take whatever they can get.

After you e. bigelow: I have never seen you make a commitment about what you think about anything. I have seen how you operate around GH and I can't say that I would ever turn my back with you lurking around...
