I just want to ask a couple questions:
Does the Gopher coaching staff prepare for their upcoming match-up during the week at all?
Do they watch film on their oppenent?
It is obivious that No. Illinois likes to run the ball. In their three games leading up to this game, they rushed the ball 118 times. Our defense looked lost on the field last night. Giving up 297 yds rushing to a team that is suppose to be smaller and weaker than the Gophers. No. Illinois had only thrown the ball 80 times before last nights game and only had to throw the ball 17 times against the Gophers pitiful secondary. This game is on the coaching staff and they should be embarrassed.
What is going to happen when the Big Ten season starts next Saturday? Will the coaching staff get their act together and put these players in positions to succeed or will they continue to go through the motions and finish the season at best with two wins?
