Begs the question, how is an 11-1 season a step back?

TCU
FULL LIST OF TCU PREDICTIONS
Tim Cowlishaw, The Dallas Morning News: 10-2. Picked to finish seventh in the Big 12 last year, TCU fooled everyone. As the No. 2 team in the nation, they face the opposite challenge in 2015. And while quarterback Trevone Boykin has a legitimate shot at the Heisman, Gary Patterson’s defense might be closer to good than great with so many new faces.
Stewart Mandel, FOX Sports: 11-1. Ultimately, I believe the schedule sets up a little more favorably for TCU than it does for Baylor…With that in mind, this year’s TCU-Baylor game. is in Fort Worth. The Frogs will win both that and the conference.
Bruce Feldman, FOX Sports: 11-1. TCU returns more speed than anyone in the country. Just look at the Horned Frogs track team and you’ll see some really good football players. Quarterback Trevone Boykin is a whiz at extending plays and showed great decision-making savvy in 2014. However, TCU also has to replace a big chunk of its D — and as terrific a defensive coach as Gary Patterson is, I think the Frogs will take a little step back.
