What does everyone think the spread will be for our game next week? And why not, let's throw some O/U predictions out there too eh?

If I had to make an **uneducated** guess I would say Gophers +16 and an Over/Under of 57.

Will start at Ohio State -17.5 will end up around -14 or 15. o/u-55

Ohio State opens at -14.5 according to vegas insider.

-10

I think the forecast will come into play

I think this is closer to where it will end up. Back to back road games for OSU, coming off a huge emotional victory, against a Gopher team that's 9-2 against the spread in it's last 11 B1G games. I realize the Gophers are also in position for an emotional letdown & OSU needs to run it up to impress for the playoff committee, but we held TCU to 30 at TCU.

I saw the spread was at -12 this morning. This will be a tough game.

If the O/U is over 50, I forget the spread and take the Under.

-12 seems low...I mean they just went into East Lansing and won by 12. I would feel much better about this game if OSU didn't have a QB that was a running threat. We have struggled against duel threat QBs all year. Plus, Urban knows he has to blow us out to impress the voters. Also, I think the over/under will be way over 50. I'm thinking something close to 48-24 OSU victory.

If we're going to lose, let's just make it a convincing loss, so we can all leave and warm up at halftime. Last year against Wisconsin was just a tease because we couldn't leave only down 2 scores.

Obviously I'm being a little sarcastic, but I do feel this way to a certain extent.

I guess I'm seeing a game similar to our game with Wisconsin in the bitter cold last year. A lot will depend on whether or not we can score some points, which we couldn't last year against the Badgers. If we can't move the ball consistently, my guess Meyer would just as soon put up 20 points and sit on the lead. Of course, given the way blow-outs impress relatively uninformed scribes/coaches who vote in polls, the temptation to run it up will be there.

And he'll have a specific reason to run up the score. Beating us by more than TCU did is a legit excuse to beat us as badly as possible. Not saying the committee will care for sure, but they might.

Has anyone ever thought of us running up the score?

Sad on your part. It's senior day, last game of the year, playing a top 10 team, with a chance for a great win and to make some serious noise in the West. I'll be there until the bitter end...

Sad Pizza was hilarious but Sad Frozen Pizza would be even better.
