Nebraska is due - with any luck at all, they'd be 5-1. Tommy Armstrong is a big play guy, can break a game open with a pass or run and can scramble when necessary. They are also strong against the run. If we open the playbook, a close win, otherwise: Huskers 28 Gophers 17.
 


Golden Gophers 24 Children of the Corn 21......we're +2 I think, so TCF stadium provides us the necessary cushion for a W..........I hope!

We win on last second touchdown after they took field goal lead with 2:18 left after a tie going in to the third quarter of 14-14. The torture continues this weekend in Lincoln, and they really start to feel cursed because of last second losses.

Believe me guys... we already feel the curse, 4 losses decided by 11 points? I think I saw it posted that with 15 sec left in EVERY game,.... we had the lead. Yea, the curse is already there but I will still post my score prediction with the attitude that eventually our boys will start to click and get another win.

Oh, just curious if any of you guys remember when I first joined your board, I came over here to congratulate you guys on the hire of Jerry Kill. I said I thought he would come right in and have almost immediate success, he's a hell of a coach and has surrounded himself in assistants that know how to motivate and get the most out of their team. When Pelini was terminated I was kinda hoping our AD would go after Jerry, congrats on your success, hopefully it ends Saturday. Go Big Red
 


I don't think the Gophers match up very well against the Huskers. Armstrong has had 3 games passing over 300 yds and is a huge threat when he keeps the ball. Plus their D against the run has been good and their pass D has been weak but can we count on Mitch to take advantage of that???
