Huskers score a TD on the first drive of the game and Gopher offense takes a bit to figure itself out, but defense solidifies quickly and Athan has a great first showing. Nebraska fans adjust their record predictions to 14-1 and Minnesota gets an excellent statement win to start off the season and build up momentum from.
I'm severely bored so here's a more in depth view at my predictions.
I think we run the ball way more than people seem to think we will. That being said BSF will lead the team in targets and yards with a TD. AK will throw for about 200 yards in the air. I also think for the first time in a while we will have a rushing TD for 50+ yards where Sean Tyler breaks through the middle and is never touched hitting his insane top speed. With how loose Sims seems to be with the ball I can see Nubin with his first interception of the year coming in game one as well.
