Now we have won 4 straight Big Ten games, something not done since I was a junior and Cal Stoll was coach. We were the third best team in the Big Ten, some distance behind the Big Two yet we were leaders of the Little Eight. But to equal Cal Stoll's 1973 Big Ten 6-2 record, we still have to win out against the Badgers and Sparti. To beat Cal Stoll's best Big Ten won / loss record, we not only have to win out against Wisconsin and MSU but the chips have to fall into place for us to represent the Legends Division in the Big Ten Championship Game, and we then have to beat the winner of the Big Ten Leaders Division. A very tall order, not totally in our control. Nevertheless, since we are in uncharted territory since our 1973 Big Ten 6-2 season, and we are guaranteed of a .500 Big Ten football season, I am wondering what you all think the game time will be for Paul Bunyan's Axe, and what network this game will be telecast on. Thoughts?

1am on PBS. Following a rerun of that socialist chatter known as Almanac. :)

Here are my 4 predictions.

11 AM ESPN or 2:30 ABC or 2:30 BTN or 2:30 ESPN. It going to be one of those time and network.

7pm. snowing. ESPN. Gameday. Gophers win in overtime thriller. I touch the axe.

This is my dream.

11 AM on ABC. We get the good network but shafted on time. Again.

Assuming we creep into the top 25 and Wisconsin defeats Indiana at Camp Randall next weekend, Paul Bunyan's Axe looks to be the most interesting match up in the Big Ten on Saturday, 23 November 2013. It would also be the only Big Ten match up between two top 25 ranked teams. I like GopherCrazy's 7:00 PM match up under the lights in a snow storm. That would be so cool.

As you already know. no november night games and even if it were a night game, it would have to be announce before the season started.

2:30 on ABC and there is zero chance that Gameday will be here.

The Badgers are going lose to Indy. ;)

2:30pm on ABC/ESPN. Best B1G game that day.
