PP: Would Gophers be left out of a college football ‘super league?’

A super league without a draft and some form of control over player contracts to stop the portal will create permanent bottom dwellers. In that type of set up, I would prefer the Gophers not participate at all. If the B1G blows up over that, I would prefer the Gophers and other like teams for a system aligned with the old rules focused on the STUDENT in student-athlete.
But they would have to contend with lawsuits by players, even coaches, which is why Congress should pass a bill reinstating NCAA's old rules - it would quickly be taken into the federal courts and this time SCOTUS might take the side of the NCAA, seeing all the disasters that have resulted from no rules, no discipline, just greed - and "student" athletes (playing at three schools or even four) a farce.
